Caterpillar is pleased to announce an expanded compact industrial diesel engine lineup that continues to offer a clear path to off-road EPA Tier 4 Interim & EU Stage IIIB compliance. Cat compact diesel engines now cover the power range from 11 to 66 bhp (8.2 to 50 bkW) with ten technically advanced models that meet existing Tier 3/Stage IIIA and Tier 4 Interim emission standards for North America and Europe.

Four Models of Towed Scrapers Feature Durable Caterpillar Components and Innovative Designs for High Productivity
Caterpillar acquired E-Ject Systems in January, 2008, and now Cat® dealers in North America are the exclusive suppliers of the four models of pull type scrapers. The scrapers are available in two different capacities, 17 cubic yards (13 cubic meters) and 22 cubic yards (16.8 cubic meters), and in two different configurations, standard two-wheel and an advanced design with four wheels.

Caterpillar Acquires E-Ject Systems, Manufacturer of Towed Earthmoving and Soils Preparation Equipment
Caterpillar has acquired E-Ject Systems, manufacturer of towed scrapers, an ejector trailer, construction discs and a towed, sheepsfoot compactor. The manufacturing plant is located in Elkader, Iowa, and the products will continue to be manufactured there and distributed in North America. The acquisition took place in January.
