Caterpillar Announces New Cat® D11T and D11T Carrydozer 
The Cat® D11, since 1986, has set the standard for machine productivity, durability, reliability, safety and operator convenience in high-production dozing applications. New Cat® 349E Hydraulic Excavator
The new CatŪ 349E hydraulic excavator features a 396 net horsepower Cat C13 ACERTTM engine that meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. New Cat® Command for Dozing
Caterpillar introduces the Cat Command for Dozing integrated remote control system for the D10T and D11T Track-Type Tractors. Command for Dozing enables remote, line-of-sight operation using a portable console--so that the equipment operator can stay out of hazardous areas, such as under highwalls, near slides or pushing to underground feeders in stockpiles.
New Cat® Detect System
Cat Object Detection enhances safety by helping operators of large mining machines determine if vehicles or other objects are close during start-up and the first few seconds of machine movement. The new system builds on and replaces the Cat Integrated Object Detection System for large mining trucks.
New Cat® Terrain System
Cat Terrain is the first capability set in the all new Cat MineStar System technology suite available from Caterpillar, designed with improved features and functionality as well as increased scalability. Terrain is a direct replacement for the Computer Aided Earthmoving System (CAES) and AQUILA Drill and AQUILA Dragline products. Terrain builds on the proven capabilities of those products to boost mine site productivity and efficiency while simultaneously enhancing safety.
New Cat® MineStar™ System
The new Cat MineStar System builds on existing Cat mining technologies and adds new capabilities to create a comprehensive mine operations and equipment management system. The system is configurable and scalable to enable mine managers to define the size and scope that best serve the needs of the mine.
