Don Hughes of Columbus, GA was selected in a random drawing held Feb. 24 as the grand prize winner of the company's Meet Me In Vegas online sweepstakes featuring a trip to Las Vegas. The sweepstakes is part of the celebration surrounding the unveiling of the first model in the full line of Cat® Vocational Trucks, the Cat CT660, in Las Vegas at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in March.

Caterpillar is introducing a new, completely redesigned wheel feller buncher family with significant advances in performance, reliability and serviceability. Customer feedback at every stage of development drove the design of the new models, the Cat® 563C and 573C. The company is also introducing the new SH-56B high capacity bunching saw to keep pace with the increased capacity of the new feller bunchers.

Caterpillar has added a new dimension to its Ultra High Demolition (UHD) excavator business by leveraging the expertise of Jewell Attachments LLC, which will design and manufacture a new range of UHD excavators, branded APEX, to be sold exclusively through North American Cat® dealers. Jewell, in business since 1985, has extensive manufacturing facilities and a reputation for building high-quality machines with vertical-reach capabilities from 75 to 182 feet.
